I throw pottery on the wheel to feel the clay move like a supple song under my fingers. Carved into freshly thrown pieces are the mountains and unfurling green life of the Willamette Valley I call home. Mugs come off my wheel most often because I craft wares not just to enjoy with your eyes, but with all your senses as you savor a favorite drink. I also have a deep love of horses, so clay often takes shape through my fingers as these frolicking figures.
