Making art is my joy. Creating an exciting visual image with strong patterns of lights and darks, interesting shapes, and stunning color relationships makes my day. Presenting a concept that inspires me completes the picture.
I have taught art for many years in a variety of venues–from community colleges to my private studio. I find teaching art very fulfilling. I love to help people learn skills that enhance their creativity.
Currently the focus of my art is watercolor and oil painting. I have spent many wonderful hours painting on-location and in my studio in both media. I work with most subjects. I also have an interest in subject matter that inspires the viewer to see the world in an unexpected way.
