I work primarily with porcelain, either wood-firing or soda firing or, if it’s best, electric firing. My inspirations are mostly from the forest and ocean; and my functional pottery must feel as good to the hand as to the eye. I make 2 lines of cabinet knobs inspired by bright colored peppers, and by sequoia cones. I’ve made porcelain Welcome Signs since 1997.
